Our own suburb, and what that changes
Albion is where we’re based, which makes it the shortest run we do and usually the quickest to get booked in. The suburb is really two suburbs sitting on top of each other. Up around Crosby Road and Hudson Road it’s post-war workers’ cottages, most of them on their original switchboard, most of them one renovation away from needing a bigger one. Down around the old mill and Albion Park it’s newer townhouses and apartments, where the work is EV charging, smoke alarm compliance, second circuits and fit-offs.
Being local doesn’t change the price, which is fixed and quoted before we start wherever the job is, but it does change how fast we can get there. Most Albion work we can do same day, and it’s the suburb we can most often fit an emergency call into an already full day.
