Electrician Hamilton
Licensed electricians working Hamilton, Portside and the hill. Apartment and body corporate work down on the flat, renovation and outdoor electrical up top. Priced before we start.
Two sides of Hamilton, one electrician
Down on the flat at Portside the work is apartments: basement EV charging, shared switchboards and body corporate approvals. Up the hill it is large renovated houses, so pool and landscape lighting, outdoor kitchens and the board capacity to run all of it at once. We do both.

Two Hamiltons, two kinds of job
Hamilton splits cleanly in two and the work follows the split. Down on the flat it’s Portside and the riverfront apartment stock, where jobs mean EV charger installation in basement car spaces, shared switchboards and a body corporate to get approval from before anything happens. Up the hill it’s large renovated houses, and the work is what large renovated houses need: landscape and pool lighting, outdoor kitchens, garage and gym circuits, and the switchboard capacity to carry the lot.
Pool and outdoor work is where we get the most questions. Anything near water has fixed clearances set by the wiring rules, pool equipment needs its own RCD-protected circuit, and lighting around a pool has to be either low voltage or installed outside a defined zone. None of it is difficult, but it’s the kind of thing a handyman job gets wrong and an inspection later catches. Hamilton is one of the suburbs we cover, and both halves of it are a short run from Albion.
Licensed electricians working Hamilton and the inner north. Fixed pricing, compliance certificates and a team that turns up when they say they will.
You get the number before we start, not after. No hourly creep.
A booked window we actually keep, and a call if anything moves.
Issued and sent, not chased. It is your proof the work was done properly.
How it works

A fixed price and a time window, confirmed before anyone leaves the depot.
-
Step 3Installed and tested
Tested, certificate issued, and the site left the way we found it.
Our work, photographed on site
Every photo here is our own work, not a stock library. Switchboards, chargers, outdoor circuits and the parts of a job that only show up if they were done badly. Hamilton work swings between basement car parks and back gardens, and both are here.

Questions from both sides of Hamilton
Half of these come from apartments and half from houses, which is Hamilton in a sentence. Call us if yours isn’t here.
Can you run power to a pool or an outdoor kitchen?
Yes. Both need a dedicated RCD-protected circuit rather than an extension off an existing one. Around a pool there are fixed clearances from the water’s edge for fittings and outlets, and pool equipment gets its own circuit. We’ll set it out before we quote so there are no surprises at inspection.
Do you handle body corporate approvals at Portside?
We do the part you can’t: the site check, the load assessment on the building’s board, and the written scope the committee needs to make a decision. Lodging it is yours, but you won’t be lodging a blank page.
Our renovation needs more capacity. Is that a switchboard job or a supply job?
Usually the board, sometimes the supply. A board can run out of room long before the incoming supply runs out of capacity. We check which one is actually the limit before quoting, because upgrading the wrong one is an expensive way to solve nothing.
